Privacy Policy
SocialAddict is a social media inbox tool operated by Market Hunterz ("we", "us"). It helps businesses manage the comments and direct messages on their own Instagram and Facebook accounts, with every response reviewed by a person before it is sent.
What data we process
- Public comments left on the connected account's posts: comment text, the commenter's username and ID, and timestamps.
- Direct messages sent to the connected account: message text, sender ID, and timestamps.
- Basic profile information of the connected business account itself, such as its ID, username, and profile picture.
- The public messaging profile of people who message the connected account, such as their display name, so the team can see who they are replying to.
This data is received through Meta's official APIs, only for accounts that have expressly authorized the app. We do not collect data from any other account, and we do not use tracking pixels, cookies, or analytics on the people who comment on or message our clients.
How we use it
- To sort incoming comments and messages for the account owner.
- To prepare draft responses, which are approved, edited, or rejected by a person on the account owner's team before anything is sent.
- To keep a record of what was received and answered, for the account owner's own records.
Message and comment content may be processed by an AI language model provider (Anthropic) solely to classify the message and prepare a draft reply. Content is not used to train models.
What we never do
- We never sell or rent data to anyone.
- We never share message or comment content with third parties beyond the service providers named above.
- We never contact anyone first. The tool only responds to comments and messages that people send to the connected accounts.
- We never publish posts, stories, or any other content to the connected account.
Storage and retention
Data is stored on access controlled servers and retained only as long as needed to provide the service to the connected account, after which it is deleted. A connected account owner can disconnect at any time from their Instagram settings or by contacting us, which stops all processing immediately.
Data deletion
To request deletion of any data related to you, for example a comment or message you sent to one of the accounts we manage, email jc@markethunterz.com with the account name and approximate date. We will delete the associated records within 30 days and confirm by email. Connected account owners can request full deletion of their account's data the same way. Requests from authorities
If we receive a request from a public authority for personal data, our policy is to review the legal validity of the request before any response, disclose only the minimum information legally required, and document each request, our response, and the legal basis involved. We have received no such requests to date.
